Collectively, the executive team of DrTAB possesses deep technical ability and functional expertise in the areas of work flow, heuristics, scalable OO-based enterprise architecture development, wireless protocol & security specific to the health care industry.  Individually, they have worked with established and high profile companies such as ACS, HP, BMC, Level 3, Microsoft, Sprint, Boeing, Space Labs Medical, H&R Block, SoftMed, HealthLink, CTG Health Services, Aixion Group and many others.  The team leverages their overall experience to develop very efficient and effective software offering.

Jimmy Standaert – Founder & CEO

12+ years of applicable technical and entrepreneurial experience with Fortune 100 as well as start up high tech software companies and leads the overall marketing, sales and product development strategies for DrTAB.  He is an active investor in commercial real estate and pre-IPO ventures.  He owns Aixion Group, a multi-faceted executive advisory and clinical integration firm as well as DrTAB Systems, Inc.  DrTAB is focusing on creating flexible OO-based frameworks for producing enterprise software products within the healthcare industry.

Graduating with Dept. Honor in Chemistry from Drury University, he globally published his research on biochemical buffers that took him to Hong Kong, Thailand, Nepal and India.  He met Mother Teresa in her convent in Calcutta. First career was as the lead research engineer at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing in the Attack Aircraft & Missiles Systems Department and he quickly showed his niche – pattern recognition, consolidation of processes & reverse engineering.

Dr. Gregory Barnhill – Co-founder – CMO

Doctor Barnhill is an Orthopedic Surgeon practicing adult reconstructive surgery with special interests in large joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery. He also holds a Masters Degree in agronomy genetics (Wheat cytogenetics).  Dr. Barnhill understands that through the digitization of medical data, tele-medicine and a lower cost per patient must be achieved to remain profitable in the medical vertical.  Dr. Barnhill is the company’s Chief Medical Officer and is responsible for the heuristic features and functionality within the EMR Frameworks.

Josh Peck – Executive, Systems Strategy & Architecture

Josh has managed technology projects for top-10 independent Google Adwords advertiser and was the author of: Amazon-fps-ruby gem (code.google.com 2009).  He has performed systems advisory roles for Kan-ed (Kansas Board of Regents) as a state-wide subject-domain expert for databases, UNIX, and web technologies.  He has a B.S. in C.S. and is currently obtaining his M.S. in Engineering Management from University of Kansas.  Josh has expertise in the following:

• Reduction of systems infrastructure costs by 90% by utilizing cloud computing.
• Development of SEO optimization processes and mathematical models decreasing launch time by 400%
• Managed enterprise systems and database scalability issues to insure 99.9% uptime
• Developed numerous REST / SOAP applications both as client and server
• Leveraged the rails stack to integrate batch processes with Rails and reduce redundancy

Mark Thomas – Executive, IT Infrastructure & Service Management

18+ years of professional experience, Mark has led large teams in outsourced IT arrangements, conducted PMO, Service Management and governance activities for major project teams, managed enterprise applications implementations, and implemented governance processes across multiple industries.  Mark has a wide array of industry experience with ‘Big Five’ type consulting in the health care, manufacturing and distribution, services, high technology, and government verticals.  Mark has had specific focus providing organizational design, operational processes, and governance models.  Designed diagnostics using ITIL v2/v3, CobiT, and ISO20000 standards, providing a gap analysis as well as strategy blueprints.

Steve Patterson – Executive, Internal Operations
Steve is a solutions-oriented technology executive with over 25 years of experience and a proven track record of leadership and success working with senior business management to craft business and IT strategies driving organizational achievement. As a former Chief Information Officer, he has extensive experience developing strategic plans for IT and business alignment, and implementing IT solutions in the manufacturing, health care, and government sectors.  He has implemented object-oriented, web browser based applications development, crafted enterprise application integration strategies, lead efforts to develop enterprise IT architecture, and provided leadership for an enterprise wide reorganization of IT governance.
